How to get Kyoto University?

You have two ways to get the conference venue as below:

1. Shuttle buses arranged by the committee. See this page.
2. Public transportation (Click here to find details)

If you need an invitation letter in order to apply for a visa to enter Japan, you MUST complete your registration with payment to this conference. Then, please contact the secretariat with your registration ID. You will be given an application form for the invitation letter which you should fill in and submit to the secretariat. After you submit the form, you will receive the invitation letter by international mail service in 1-2 weeks. The procedure is subject to change according to the Japanese Government's policy.

We recommend booking your hotel near Kyoto Station, as there are limited accommodations available near the conference venue.

In addition to Kyoto Station, we suggest considering accommodations in Kyoto city downtown or areas such as Takatsuki City, which is about a 15-minute train ride from either Hankyu Katsura Station or JR Katsuragawa Station. From these stations, it takes about 15-20 minutes by bus to reach the venue.
