Biography

Starting as Physiotherapist, Manual Therapist, Naturopath and coach of the national teams in swimming, triathlon and modern pentathlon, owner of several centers for interdisciplinary therapy, I changed to Naturopathy, TCM, Ayurvedic medicine and to Osteopathy. The This education in Belgium, France and Netherlands included Podometrie, Microcurrent, Stimulation therapy, nutrition and others. Later on giving lectures and workshops, writing articles and spokesman on congresses. Within specializing in CMD problems I got a member of ICCMO and finally I built up a special holistic Concept the „Podo Cranial Concept“, which was involved in different centres in Germany. Since that time I’m participating, even as a speaker by Intern. Congresses of ICCMO. Actually team coaching, supervising and networking of the concept. New projects „Gerber - Conference“ Poland, biological dentistry, Cranial Osteopathy - Cranio-mandibular disorders and psyche. Never the least I’ll try to communicate how important are also the attitude (static) and there correction - if necessary - with special neurological (myozentric) therapy soles, in adoption to the functional treatment with centric splints.

Abstract

Good posture always requires well-functioning sensory organs. In addition to eyes (seeing) and hearing (ears), the “correct” bite has a very special meaning. The occlusal teeth when biting are to be viewed as something absolute. Quite a few people today are treated with (only) grinding splints because of a wide variety of symptoms. Bite splints, which often increase symptoms, cause them to occur elsewhere and pay little attention to posture (statics), have been the norm to this day. The importance of the correct bite has not yet been recognized not only in dentistry and orthodontist courses, but also in human medicine (orthopedics) and in the therapeutic area. Cooperating networks are currently still based on the assumption that the therapists involved are competent and understand their subject. Generally correct, however, there is a need for mutual monitoring and tests to make the effects of the respective therapeutic measures and aid supplies more evaluated. The theoretical explanations in recent years will be presented using a case study, initial tests, controls and coordination of interdisciplinary measures and interventions for later implementation. In addition, the function-correcting insoles are provided when symptoms increase.
